This is very much a hybrid Classic Dry White, since it contains Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc (not normally associated with the Classic Dry White style) in addition to Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.Bright straw colour. The nose is quite broad, and displays complex aroma. Notes of unripe gooseberry, over a herbaceous tropical fruit background followed by a hint of spice. Full bodied palate. Excellent palate weight and mouthfeel. The herbaceous flavours are dominant, over unripe gooseberry back palate flavour. Excellent length and persistence. Crisp acid finish and very long aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
