An excellent Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon - tight and certainly worthy of a place in the cellar. Opaque black crimson colour. Aroma of cedar, violets, liquorice, truffle and blackcurrants, showing sophistication and complexity. The palate structure is tight, yet yields more than enough to demonstrate a view of long cellaring potential. Flavours of spice, cedar, blackcurrant and truffles with hints of mint and chocolate. Excellent palate weight with fine grained firmish tannins followed by a very long spice, liquorice and blackcurrant aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years
