1999 Water Wheel Chardonnay

Another flavour filled wine and nothing short of what's expected from winemaker Peter Cumming. Brilliant pale straw colour. Excellent aroma of peach, melon and spice with a hint of tropical fruits. On the palate flavours of grapefruit, citrus, peach and melon with excellent depth and length. Good weight and creamy texture mouthfeel over which the grapefruit and citrus flavours are dominant. Clean acid finish followed by long melon, spice and citrus aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
