Very deep crimson colour, with deep mauve edges. The nose displays aroma of spice, stewed fruit,blackcurrant and cinnamon . On the palate flavours of spice and blackcurrant emerge, but are relatively short, followed by hints of liquorice on the back palate. Fine grained firmish tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and spice. Cellar 3-4 years.
