An outstanding wine. Very deep crimson mauve colour. Excellent lifted nose with aroma of spice, violets and black pepper, supported by a strong blackberry background. Excellent palate weight and mouthfeel. Flavours of rich ripe plum and ripe blackberries over a very peppery backpalate. Perfect balance, velvet smooth tannins followed by flavours of ripe plum, blackberry and spice with an earthy end note. Cellar 4-5 years.
