Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson mauve edge. The nose reveals a very toasty oak note, followed by vanilla, liquorice and blackberry. The palate structure is relatively light, with cedar and oak integrating with flavours of stewed fruit, plum and blackberry. Fine grained, dry tannins which are dominant at this stage. Aftertaste of plum and toasted oak. Cellar 3 – 4 years.
