Very deep crimson black colour. Very appealing nose of cinnamon, vanilla, blackcurrant, pepper and liquorice. Quite delightful and almost perfumed. The palate has good weight with very distinct charry oak flavours, married perfectly to blackcurrant and liquorice. The front of the palate starts off slowly but builds quickly to a complete middle and back palate. Fine grained, perfect balance, soft tannins, followed by very long toasted oak, blackcurrant, spice and vanilla aftertaste. Cellar 3-5 years.
