1999 Ingoldby Cabernet Sauvignon

Last year the Ingoldby Shiraz was the star performer, this year it’s the Cabernet that shines. Outstanding colour, very deep crimson mauve. The nose displays distinct youthful Cabernet aroma with notes of blackcurrant, spice and inky berry end notes. The palate is impressive, showing good weight and over time will build complexity. Flavours of spice, plum and blackcurrant. Fine grained dry tannins, perfect balance, followed by long spice, liquorice and blackcurrant aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
