This is a big buttery Chardonnay with a generous dose of oak. Bright golden colour showing some bottle development. The nose is intense. Aroma of butterscotch and yeast lees over a layer of green tea, toasted oak and roast almonds. The palate has plenty of weight with generous creamy texture. Butterscotch flavours, yeast lees and spiced oak over a back palate flavour profile of roast almonds and yeast lees. Clean acid finish followed by strong spicy oak aftertaste.
