Cape Jaffa is striving to develop wines of complexity. This wine has had 50% of the Sauvignon Blanc component fermented in New French Oak. Bright straw colour. Aroma of tropical fruit and citrus, with subtle Graves like overtones. The palate is full bodied, with flavours of confectionery, pear, tropical fruits and yeast lees, followed by nutty oak back palate flavour. Clean crisp acid finish, followed by tropical fruit and ripe pineapple aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
