This is the second vintage from this vineyard, and it is very clear, that the island is capable of producing excellent wine. The style, for both the Cabernet and Shiraz is very solid, with a firm tannic grip, but supported by excellent fruit flavours. Totally opaque colour, black crimson. The nose and palate are both concentrates of blackcurrant, supported by spice, cedar and liquorice. The tannins create a very form grip on the palate and last long into the aftertaste. Aftertaste of liquorice, spice and blackcurrant. Cellar 4-5 years. The wine needs time to blossom. Stocks are extremely limited.
