Gamekeepers Reserve is a blend of Grenache, Touriga, Mouvedre and Shiraz. The fruit is picked very ripe with a generous 14.5% alcohol. Medium weight. Outstanding, vibrant crimson mauve colour, with lifted complex nose of spice, liquorice raspberry and a hint of blackpeppers. The palate is mouthfilling, with flavours of ripe raspberry, liquorice allsorts followed by inky blackberry, and supported by fine dry, yet firm lingering tannins. Good weight and depth with very long peppery, blackberry and raspberry aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
