A firm sophisticated wine, tightly knit that needs 5-8 years cellaring.Deep brick red colour. Sophisticated nose with aroma of stewed fruit, blackcurrant, spice and cedar. The palate displays excellent concentration of flavour with Bordeaux like influence. Flavours of stewed fruits, blackcurrant, plum and cedar are supported by fine grained dry tannins. Excellent tannin fruit balance with the acidity being just a touch high. A wine that is worth stashing in the corner of the cellar and waiting. Very long, stewed fruit, blackcurrant and spice aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
