Bright pale straw colour with a slightly green tinge. Delicate grassy tropical fruit aroma, followed by a touch of unripe passionfruit. Dry palate flavours with a pronounced aniseed component, that overshadows the gooseberry flavours and adds a touch of bitterness to the back palate. Crisp acid finish followed by a citrus grapefruit gooseberry aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
