Totally opaque crimson mauve colour, with mauve edges. This is a superb example of Bordeaux. Magnificent, lifted nose, with Classic Bordeaux character. Notes of violets, spice, blackcurrant and cedar. Mouthfilling palate complex, and concentrated flavours of blackcurrant and spice followed by liquorice and cedar. Fine grained firmish tannins – very youthful still. Perfect balance followed by exceptionally long aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant and cedar. Cellar 8 – 10 years.
