A very generous Ebenezer. Opaque crimson, black colour. The nose displays some very ripe fruit aromas, with a tarry top note, that is followed by aromas of ripe plums, stewed fruit, liquorice and dark chocolate with just a trace of leather. The palate is full bodied with abundant flavours of ripe plums and stewed fruit over a background of spice. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance, followed by aftertaste of plums and stewed fruit. Cellar 4-5 years.
