1997 Bowen Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc

Another excellent red from Bowen Estate showing added complexity due to the blend. Opaque crimson colour. The nose is almost perfumed with its lifted aromas of spice, liquorice and blackcurrant. Mouthfilling palate with excellent concentration of flavour. Blackcurrant, chocolate, vanilla and confectionary palate flavours fill the palate and are followed by mulberry, raspberry and plum back palate flavours. Perfect balance, fine grained tannin structure, with very long aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
