A very impressive food style methode champenoise. Bright deep straw colour. Fine, profuse bead with good mousse. The nose displays some bottle developed characteristics with yeast autolysis quite evident, followed by biscuit, nut and hints of grapefruit. Full bodied palate displaying some oxidised flavours, very impressive length and persistence. Creamy texture with very long toasted honey, grapefruit and yeast lees aftertaste. If you enjoy Bollinger, then this is the working mans version of it. Cellar 2-3 years.
