Opaque deep brick red colour. The nose is totally different from that of the 1996 Zema Shiraz. Aromas of ripe plum, spice, vanilla and confectionery dominate. Swirling the wine around in the mouth leaves strong flavors of spicy plum, liquorice and vanilla. Excellent depth of flavour and concentration with pronounced vanillin spice after flavour. Cellar 5 - 10 years.
