1995 Moorooduc Estate Pinot Noir

This is an excellent example of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir. Superb ripe fruit, producing a generous 13.5% Alcohol Volume, giving the wine a soft, warm texture. Medium weight, brick red colour. Excellent gamy/spice nose with beetroot, cherries and strawberries in the background. The palate displays considerable complexity with toasty cherry oak counterpointing persistent cherry strawberry flavours. Fine tannins, soft, with long cherry spice aftertaste. Cellar 3 - 5 years.
