1995 Barossa Valley Estate E&E Sparkling Shiraz

A superb wine for the Christmas table, and a perfect accompaniment with Turkey. At 5 years age, the wine shows an excellent degree of complexity and superb developed palate flavours. Opaque brick, ruby colour, with excellent purple mauve mousse. On the nose, some developed flavours are emerging with hints of leather, plum and stewed fruit. Rich mouth filling palate, with distinct flavours of spice, ripe plums, blackberry and leather. Excellent length and persistence of flavour, followed by a very distinct blackpepper back palate and after flavour. Cellar 2-3 years.
