1994 Decadent Drinks Whiskyland Chapter Fifteen Springbank 30 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

As independent bottler, 'Decadent Drinks' celebrate their fifth anniversary they've launched a new flagship brand: Whiskyland. The series of 100 'Chapters' features only the highest quality and very best whiskies they can source. After a run of sherry cask Springbanks, Chapter Fifteen marks a refreshing return to pure refill matured Springbank, totally distillate-driven in a spectacular demonstration of raw, pure, mature Campbeltown character. A handful of the 238 bottles drawn from a refill hogshead in 2025 are on offer. 44.8% Alc./Vol.

Decadent Drinks started as a conversation between its founders, Angus MacRaild and Iain McClune. Iain asked Angus if he would be interested to collaborate with some indy bottling, with the intention that it was very much a side project for both of them. Angus, at that time, had been writing a popular satirical blog called 'Whiskysponge' for a number of years and had been separately thinking it might be fun to use it as a label for an indy bottling of some sort, but this was never more than a notional idea. As it turned out: Iain had some casks, Angus had some ideas, and the first 'Whisky Sponge' bottlings emerged from these discussions in January 2019.  From there the range has continued to expand.
