One of Edinburgh's local operations, North British is a large grain distillery that has been going strong since 1887, founded by three Edinburgh Blenders to provide a steady supply of ingredients for the popular blends of the age. Adelphi's is typical, having been matured in an x-Bourbon barrel yielding 208 bottles at natural strength. Expect notes of honey, ginger, vanilla, wax and a slight oiliness. 47.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
