2013 M.Chapoutier La Ciboise Rouge

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries and raspberry sit alongside a hint of liquorice, earth and spice. Light, fresh and fruity the palate has flavours of ripe cherries, raspberries, subtle liquorice, earthy clove like characters and spice. Dryish finish with very fine grained velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, subtle liquorice, scorched earth and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
