Lirac is one of two of France’s oldest rose wine districts - the other being nearby Tavel (here only Rose can legally be produced). Both appellations tend to make drier styles with more body than Roses from elsewhere in Southern France. This excellent example has been produced from a blend of Cinsault, Picpoul, Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc grapes.

A deliciously spicy, drier-styled Rose.

Translucent salmon pink colour with a watery salmon pink tinged hue. The nose displays lifted raspberry and ripe cherry scents followed by some light musk and spice. Light and dry with a nice textural feel the palate sports a flavour profile of ripe cherries, some raspberries and musk with a spicy dry finish. Aftertaste of spicy ripe cherries and raspberries.
