2009 Famille Perrin Les Sinards Chateauneuf du Pape

Opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose offers up scented aromas of black raspberry intermixed with some liquorice and incense followed by some subtle dried meats and spice. Rich black raspberry and liquorice flavours fill the palate with dried meats, earth and spice in the background. Dryish finish with slightly chewy but balanced tannins. Long black raspberry, liquorice, dried meats and spicy blackpepper aftertaste. A Chateauneuf du Pape with excellent structure.
