2009 Claymore Wines Walk on the Wild Side Shiraz

A blend of 97% Shiraz and 3% Viognier. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson red purple hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice, dark chocolate and toasty vanillin oak followed by a hint of spice. Medium to full bodied the palate displays good generosity but lacks depth and persistence. Flavours of black cherry, liquorice and spice. Fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and spice.
Cellar 2-3 years (2014-2015).
