2009 Antoine Jobard Meursault Poruzots 1er Cru

Brilliant straw colour with faint tinges of pale gold around the edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals white peach top notes that intermingle with hints of dried honey followed by some toasty oak, biscuit, cashew and spice. Medium to full bodied opening flavours of rich white peach and dried honey dominate the palate over a background of cashew, biscuit and spice. Clean and dry with the wines textural qualities counterpointed by well balanced acidity on the finish which keeps things lively and fresh. Long aftertaste of rich ripe peach, dried honey, cashew, biscuity oak and spice. Rich, fresh and refined.
