2006 Di Giorgio Lucindale Merlot

Matured for 16 months in French and American oak. Opaque dark red colour with deep dark red mauve hue. Pronounced aromas of dark chocolate, plum and mocha followed by a hint of spice. Medium weight with flavours of stewed plum, chocolate and spice followed by a touch of earth. The fruit is drying out. Dry, slightly chalky tannins with aftertaste of stewed plum, spice, cedar and earth.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2010-2012).
