Other information... "In 2005, the ninth running of the Grade II Maker's Mark Mile was won by Artie Schiller ridden by Edgar Prado (his second consecutive of a record tying three Maker's Mark Mile wins). The 1978 Triple Crown winner Affirmed is the third bottle in the series of three horses (2003 Secretariat, 2004 Seattle Slew, 2005 Affirmed) to win the Triple Crown in the 70's. It was released Friday, April -- and 18,000 bottles were distributed statewide. The theme of the bottle is like the first two bottles in the series of Triple Crown winners with no label and painted silver with black and white accents. $200,000 was raised off the sale of the bottle for the Maker's Mark Secretariat Center at the Kentucky Horse Park."
