Sauza Hornitos Reposado 100% Agave Tequila (700ml)

Tequila is naturally clear. Colour in Tequila and Mezcal comes mostly from the addition of caramel, although barrel aging is a factor in high-quality brands of which Sauza's Hornitos is an example. Famous for its authentic pure Agave flavour and made from 100% mature Blue Agave, followed by a period of "reposado" or “resting” in wooden casks for a legal minimum period of at least two months, with the better-quality brands spending three to nine months in wood. The Tequila aficionado will savour Hornitos's full, complex taste and spicy wood character.

Tasting note: Pale golden yellow with a amber cast. Shy aromas of dried flowers and vanilla. Soft entry, lean mineral oil palate of caramel nuts and faint spice. Finishes with a peppery, old oak barrel fade.RATED: 86 points (Highly Recommended)
