Peter Rumball SB 14 Sparkling Shiraz

Deep crimson colour, with brick red mousse. Fine bead with excellent persistence. The nose displays earthy notes followed by ripe plum and spice – indicating some older base material. Mouthfilling palate flavours of earth, plum, prune and liquorice, showing again the aged base material. Creamy texture, soft acid finish, followed by very long and persistent leather, pepper aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years. (2003-2004)
