2021 Singlefile Great Southern Riesling

The Great Southern wine region is one of the largest in Australia, it’s sub regions include the likes of Frankland River, Mount Barker and Porongurup. Over the last decade it’s reputation for producing world class Rieslings has developed to such an extent that it’s now a serious challenger to Clare Valley, making some of the country’s best Rieslings.
Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Intense lime, granny smith apple and lemon aromas overshadow background notes of orange rind and wet steel. Zingy lime zest, lemon, green apple and orange rind flavours race across the palate underpinned by steely mineral infused acidity. Finishes dry and crisp with a long crunchy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Fresh and lively; a delicious array of lime, lemon and passionfruit opens proceedings on the palate and bouquet; steely acidity runs throughout, but doesn’t disturb the peace. Changes will emerge down the track, but don’t hesitate to drink it tonight.
