2020 Knappstein Ackland Vineyard Watervale Riesling

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a light shade of green running around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lemon and lime top notes mix with hints of granny smith apple, wet steel and flinty mineral notes. Intense lemon, lime and green apple flavours have a steely underbelly with razor sharp acidity underscoring the fruit. Dry, zingy finish with flinty mineral infusions making an appearance on the long austere aftertaste.
