2019 Thistledown Gorgeous Grenache No. 1

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Lifted dark raspberry, plum and liquorice aromas meld into subtle fresh herb and peppered earth notes. Delicious medium bodied dark raspberry and liquorice fruits flood the mouth with subtle vanillin oak, light earth and spice also apparent. Soft fleshy feel with velvety tannins and a long succulent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark raspberry, liquorice and plum scents flow out of the glass followed by some confectionary and light spicy earth notes. Bursting with rich succulent dark raspberry, ripe dark cherry and liquorice fruits, the medium bodied palate has a plump opulent feel. Velvet like tannins with some lightly scorched earth and spice sitting underneath. Concludes long, spicy and juicy.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
