2019 Nocturne SR Rose Sangiovese Nebbiolo

Winemakers Alana & Julian Langworthy state “2019 was a ripping year for rosé in Margaret River. Great early flavours allowed low alcohol picking decisions, resulting in a cracking wine.” After tasting this excellent Rose we’d have to agree.
Translucent rosy pink colour with a watery hue. A fragrantly scented nose offers up a bouquet of raspberries, musk and pomegranate followed by some cranberry and light spice notes. Intensely flavoured fresh peach, strawberry and raspberry fruits have a slippery mid palate feel. Finishes dry with brisk acidity. Musk and spice elements are also present on the long vibrant aftertaste.

Slightly sweaty, some spice, red and white cherries. Pleasing fine chalky texture, a touch sour and savoury, tingle of acidity and a solid finish. All up, a good drink. Drink 2019-2022.
