2019 Massena The Twilight Path Primitivo

Sourced from Massena's Dadd's Block vineyard, the fruit for this wine is fermented with around 30% whole clusters and bottled after only 6 months ageing to capture the variatals vibrancy and energy.
Totally opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Pronounced morello cherry, liquorice and red plum aromatics mix with hints of dried herbs, blueberries and spicy pepper. Medium to full in body with a lush textural feel, juicy morello cherry, black plum and liquorice fruits dominate over a dried herb, subtle blueberry and spice back drop. Underpinning the fruit is vibrant, fresh acidity and slightly chewy tannins. Concludes long and fleshy with a sense of vitality.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
