2018 Turkey Flat Vineyards Rose

Translucent rosy pink colour with a watery hue. Fragrant aromas of raspberry, pomegranate and subtle musk fill the nostrils with light rose petal and wet stone end notes. Delightful raspberry, strawberry and musk flavours grace the palate forming a beautiful supple textural feel. Elements of water melon and delicate wet stone characters ensue. Clean dry finish with refreshing acidity and a long raspberry, strawberry, musk and subtle spice aftertaste.

Turkey Flat is always remarkably quick to market with its famous Rose. This release is still settling into itself but it’s also clearly very good.
It walks a great line. Dry and savoury in part, bright and fruity in other. It’s copper-crimson in colour, is slashed with raspberried fruit flavour and also carries dry spice, orange jelly and herb notes. It’s absolutely spot on delicious drinking. Drink 2018-2020.
