2018 Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with a vivid greenish tinge around the edges. Intense ripe gooseberry, passionfruit and guava aromas sail out of the glass with citrusy green apple and some subtle herbaceous grassy characters ensuing. Bursting with flavour the palate is decorated with gooseberry, passionfruit, green apple and citrus characters underpinned by light herbaceous grassy characters and minerals. Crisp refreshing finish. Excellent length with a long persistent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
