2018 Main & Cherry GSM

Partially whole bunch fermented in terracotta pots, basket pressed and matured in older French oak. Very deep dark purple black tinged core with a bright purple hue. Fragrant scents of freshly crushed raspberries and ripe cherries flow out of the glass with a violet, incense and subtle liquorice overlay, finishing with a whiff of fresh herbs and light spice. Juicy dark raspberry flavours fill the medium bodied palate with liquorice and ripe dark cherries also present over a back drop of subtle incense infusions and spicy herbs. Bright, lively finish, supple mouthfeel and velvety tannins. Delicious ripe berry driven aftertaste.
