2018 Lilydale Estate Single Vineyard Chardonnay

Matured in 20% new French oak with 5% of the wine under going malolactic fermentation. Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with a greenish tinge to the outskirts. Dispersing from the glass are aromas of white peach, nectarine and dried honey followed by biscuity oak, light cashew and spicy nougat. Rich ripe white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours fill the mouth and provide a creamy feel to the texture. Subtle biscuity oak, citrusy nougat and spice elements are also evident. Finishes bright and fresh with a long conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
