2018 Indigo Beechworth Pinot Noir

Approximately 25% whole bunch was used in the ferment with maturation taking place in French oak, 30% of which was new. Semi translucent very dark red core with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Aromas of spicy dark cherries and ripe strawberries are intermeshed with anise, forest floor, subtle dried herbs and spicy cedar. The lighter bodied palate has a soft fleshy feel to it, being amply fruited with dark cherries and strawberries followed by dried herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar. Smooth, very polished tannins with good length and a savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
