2018 Domaine de Bellene Bourgogne Cote-D'Or Maison Dieu Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Dark cherry and winter strawberry scents intermix with hints of sour cherry, earth, some sappy fresh herb like notes and light spicy cedar. Rich red to dark cherry and red liquorice fruits fill the mouth underpinned by elements of earth, old cedar, infusions of fresh herbs and spice. A sturdy tannin structure provides the bright finish with a touch of firmness. Good power with a medium to long ripe slightly chewy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
