Winemaker Giovanni Bortoluzzi uses a variety of clones (French, Italian and German) to produce a richer, weighty style of Pinot Grigio whilst still retaining the varietals signature freshness.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted ripe pear and red apple aromas have a subtle musk overlay with citrus, dried honey and spice notes ensuing. Texturally rich and full the palate is filled with delicious ripe pear and baked apple fruits that display excellent intensity. Subtle dried honey, quince and spice characters sit underneath. Finishes dry with balanced acidity and a long moreish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
