A blend of 88% Shiraz and 12% Malbec matured in 3-6 year old French oak for 12 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of peppered dried meats and liquorice are followed by vanillin cedar, graphite and spice. Medium bodied the spicy palate features generous liquorice and blackberry flavours over a back drop of dried meats, scorched earth and pepper. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
