Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Potent ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and black cherry aromas rise from the glass followed by lightly toasted vanillin cedar, hints of dried herbs and blackpepper. Rich, full bodied and opulent in texture, lavish flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice and luscious black cherries are delivered with driving power. Sitting beneath the generous layers of fruit are elements of toasty vanillin cedar, traces of dark chocolate and spicy pepper. Plush mouthfeel with velvety yet structurally sound tannins. Superb length and fruit purity with a very long conclusion.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
Alc. 14.4%

Other Reviews...
The 2017 Shiraz Bella's Garden is a real gem and well worth seeking out for readers who love high-class Barossa Shiraz. Deep purple-hued with a kaleidoscope-like array of red and black fruits, ground pepper, spice, herbes de Provence, and cured meats, this beauty hits the palate with no hard edges, remarkable purity of fruit, and a great finish. It’s impossible to resist today, and I see no need to delay gratification. Drink 2019-2029.
