2017 Torbreck The Factor Shiraz

Predominately sourced from the Gomersal and Marananga sub regions of the Barossa, the 2017 Factor was matured in a combination of new (40%), second fill and seasoned French oak barriques for a period of 24 months.

Rich, opulently textured and dark chocolate filled old school Barossa Shiraz at its best.

Dense inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Potent liquorice, ripe blackberry, black cherry and dark chocolate aromas engulf the olfactory senses followed by some toasty vanillin oak, earthy fennel, mocha and spice. Thick and decadently rich, concentrated blackberry, liquorice, black cherry and dark chocolate flavours coat the palate with incredible volume. Toasty vanillin oak, earthy mocha elements and supple spicy fennel sit beneath the dense layers of fruit. Magnificent power and depth with silky smooth tannins. Concludes voluptuously textured and lavish with an extravagantly long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
