2017 Schieferkopf Riesling Trocken

Bright straw colour with golden edges. Aromas of lime and red apple infused with a mix of kerosene and oily toast like characters are followed by subtle spicy dried honey notes. On the palate flavours of lime and red apple are to the fore. Ensuing are toast, subtle honey and spice characters. Texturally full and rounded it finishes dry with crisp acidity and a toasty kerosene laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. The nose offers up aromas of limes, red apples and orange blossom overlaid by subtle honeysuckle, toast and spice notes. Texturally full, the palate has generous lime, orange and red apple flavours which are underpinned by zesty acidity. Elements of honeysuckle, toast and spice make an appearance on the back half. Finishes dry and fresh with a lingering aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
