2017 Juniper Small Batch Fiano

Twenty percent of the Fiano grapes were whole bunch pressed straight to barrel and underwent barrel fermentation in aged oak, followed by four months on lees during which it underwent bâtonnage to enhance the natural texture. The remaining portion was fermented in tank resulting in a brightly fruited component.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lime top notes overlay green apple and zesty citrus aromas with light fresh herb infusions and mineral ensuing. Light, vibrant palate with refreshing flavours of lime, melons and citrus followed by traces of flinty mineral. Dry finish with fresh crunchy acidity. Good length with an aftertaste of limes, melon, zesty citrus and flinty mineral infusions.
