Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Fragrant ripe cherry and anise scents infused with incense are trailed by fresh herb and spicy earth notes. Juicy ripe dark cherry and anise flavours run into some earth and spicy herb characters which are backed by relatively chalky tannins that are a touch drying and bright acidity. Concludes with a moderate aftertaste.
